SOFIA
A warm welcome to the pages for the Supporters of Fulwell Infant Academy (SOFIA). SOFIA exists to help the school by organizing fun, social and fund-raising activities like school discos, and the Summer and Christmas fayres.
Why get involved?
It’s important - last year we raised over £3000 for the school and helped equip the beautiful new library.
It’s fun – a great way of making contacts and friends with other parents.
It’s rewarding - use, expand or grow your skills; it feels good to make a difference to our school
What is expected of me?
- As little or as much time as you can give – we’d love to see you at monthly meetings but you don’t have to commit to regular meetings
- Opportunities include running stalls, making and donating raffle prizes, making items to sell etc.
Don't have any time to volunteer?
Even if you have no time to be involved in events, YOU can make a difference in 5 minutes if you shop online. The school is registered for TheGivingMachine.co.uk, which generates free donations for the school when you shop via the website. This two minute video shows you how it works.
Christmas Raffle
The Christmas raffle tickets are coming out with further information on Monday 21st November. We have some fabulous experiences including restaurant and cafe treats, children's activities, hair and beauty treatments, football tickets and many more prizes donated by our local businesses and parents.
We have an ambitious target of £6000 for playground equipment so every ticket sold will really help.
Dressing Up Day
We raised £171 from your generous donations on 31st October. This is a great start to our playground renewal fund. THANK YOU!!
