Fulwell Infant School Academy           (Map)

Ebdon Lane

Tyne and Wear

The school was inspected by Ofsted on 1st and 2nd July 2014. We were delighted with the ‘outstanding’ judgement. The full report is available by clicking here. Ofsted said that :-
“By the end of Year 2, pupils reach levels of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics which are significantly

above those expected nationally. Pupils of all ages make rapid progress from their broadly typical starting points

and learn exceptionally well. From a young age, children are given tasks that make them think hard, and which encourage them to form opinions, establish theories and ideas.”

In June 2017, Mrs Lynn Green, Deputy Headteacher achieved a lifetime achievement award. The finals are on October 22nd where she will be judged with all category winners for the ultimate Plato award.  More >>

Welcome to our School.

This website is one of the ways in which we share information about our school. Please do not hesitate to contact the Headteacher if you have any further queries or would like to arrange a visit. We take great pride in our Infant School status. This means that we cater exclusively for young children from 4 to 7 years of age in our main school and for 3 year olds in our nursery. Fulwell Infant School is an academy, linked in partnership to Fulwell Junior school. The school was built in 1987 and is of an open-plan design with a large playing field and hard playing areas.
